    A weekend for friends...

So, I spent this weekend haging out with people I haven't seen in a while.

On friday it was Alvin's surprise birthday party!  Happy Birthday Alvin!  You can check out the pictures in the photo album. We started by screaming SURPISE as Alvin came in through the garage door. Then ate some very nice appetiezers made by Fern. Later, some nice Pacman gaming and Karaoke Revolution! I finally got Volume 3...it's SOOO Awesome. Then, more food...with cake. Good times!

Then saturday was with the DnD group. Did some more karaoke (who can refuse the power of karaoke), followed by some nice Puerto Rico gaming. It's a board game which has a lot of strategy. Arrived 4th place out of 5. So, it's not that bad for being my first time. Then some nice small get together in fine downtown Seattle.

I'm am glad to have seen my friends and hang out with them. Tired as I am right now, I do not regret it. I need more human interaction than just my machines and co-workers.

    Valentine's Day

Yeap, it can't be denied...today is Valentine's Day. I actually had a nice Valentine's. Having lunch and dinner with friends is always a treat. This is my second Valentine in a row that I have been single after 6 years of being in relationships. It's not as bad as you think. I guess you really start giving it the flavor of "Friendship Day" than "Love Day".

I would like to take this opportunity then to wish a Very Happy Valentine's to all the people whom are not physically close to me right now. It has been a real honor to meet you all and to have touched your life and for you to have touched mine in the unique way that each one has. Los quiero mucho! and I carry you all in my hearts.

    There is nothing better...

Well, I was going to say, there is nothing better than a bunch of girls together gossiping...but thinking about twice, there are...

Anyways, one of the best things in the world is getting together with a group of girls to just have fun. Ohh girls just want to have fun

That is what happened last night. I was invited over to a friend's house to a little get together she was having at her house (BTW, Happy Birthday Gizela ). Man, what a blast. Just being able to talk about girlie things: life, job, beauty, love ...It is a really good stress reliever. It is always good to have that support group to get you through the hard times or make you feel better about a decision you made.

Definitely, there should be more ladies nights out there! 'Cause it's a ladies night

    Birthdays...

Well, yesterday we celebrated Eric's 24th birthday (you old fart ). Thanks to Reshma for organizing such great times.

We started off with dinner at the Icon Grill where we found out how many can fit in a table for six people only. There is where we also "surprinsingly" sanged happy birthday with some fine cake from the restaurant. Then we went to have a few drinks and ended up at Axis. Good times.

Well, Happy Birthday Eric. Hope you had a great time. You can check out the photo album for pictures.

AND, a VERY special shout out to pakistani's finest, Rafi, who also celebrated his birthday yesterday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAFI!!!

    It's something unpredictable...

Well, I took out today the photo CD that one of my friends from college gave me. Man! We did have some great times in our last semester in college. Hehehehe, Dominoe with shots! Always a blast. And if you only have Mike's, hey! throw some chocolate in there as well. Going to the beach...our Chilli's dinners. Bowling nights...with Karaoke nights as well.

Our trip to Culebra...oh! the most beautiful beach I have ever seen! I am SO happy and proud to be puertorrican. Our trip to Dominican Republic. Survivor UPR! Man, climbing waterfalls is awesome. Of course, we could not forget our kamikaze shots...and the dance club all to ourselves.

Last but certainly not least, our graduation day. Boy! Things have changed since that moment. New places you go...new people you meet...new experiences you gain. I look back now, and I already feel the change between being in college and facing the real world. And I know I'm still at the beginning of the road. We shall see then, what this new stage in our lives has in stored for us.

LOS QUIERO MUCHO! No importa en donde estén.
